Vehicle Parking Policy

URGENT NOTICE PLEASE READ – PARKING POLICY
Remember, the safest place to park your vehicle is in your garage. If you must park on the streets, please note the following policy:
- Parking is not permitted on any private streets within the community. A map of all private streets is located on the back of this letter and at www.lakevillekaty.com under the deed restriction tab.
- Parking is not permitted in the alleys unless you are parked parallel to your garage door and your vehicle completely fits on the driveway coming off the garage. Please note the vehicle must be parked without extending over any unpaved area or common area.
- The areas at the end of the alleys are not for parking vehicles; these areas are for the last two residents on each side of the alley to back their vehicles out of their garage.
- The absolute only exceptions to these parking rules are:
- Service vehicles may be parked in an alley or on a private street as necessary to provide such service and only during the time such service is being rendered.
- A resident loading or unloading a vehicle.
- A passenger vehicle parking immediately adjacent to the playground/park area during daylight hours only.
Our community is designed so that all emergency vehicles use all the streets(Public or Private) and alleys to access our homes. The Lakeville Community Association appreciates your continued cooperation in this matter as it is very important to provide easy ingress/egress to all emergency service personnel servicing our community. Please remember to be considerate of your neighbors and our community and do not park on the curbs or the grass.
